Event Sales Manager

Role Summary:

The Event Sales Manager position is responsible for assisting guests access our planned gatherings and events.  As the main role responsible for answering both email and phone inquires about reserving experiences, the ideal candidate would assist the guest understand the options available and route them to booking.  They would also be responsible for supporting the activities of the Development Director with document preparation and managing event details. 


Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering guest email and phone calls, providing information and booking experiences 

  • Knowing all promotions and packages at the center

  • Helping guests find the right program for their needs

  • Assist guests in reserving their gathering or event

  • Managing daily reservation flow in reservations software

  • Working with the Event team with details on experiences

  • Supporting the Sales Team with detail work on larger events


  • 2+ years’ experience in the hospitality / food and beverage industry

  • Highly refined verbal communication skills

  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Ability to learn and use softwares used in role (Triple Seat, Google Workspace)

  • Detail oriented with solid grammar and spelling skills

  • Data entry skills a plus

  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per The Grove’s standards.
